Dr Gwin. is a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist. He graduated from veterinary school at Oklahoma State University in 1973 and went on to obtain a Master’s degree in veterinary ophthalmology along with board certification. He was on staff at Ohio State University and the University of Florida before returning home to Oklahoma. Dr. Gwin. has practiced in Oklahoma City and Tulsa for over 30 years.
He is proud to have over 30 published research papers and to have been a National Institutes of Health research fellow studying primary glaucoma in dogs. He wrote early articles defining inherited corneal endothelial cell dystrophy in dogs, idiopathic exudative retinal detachment, primary lens luxation and secondary glaucoma.
Customer Service Representative and fuzzy child Zoie. Worked as Office Manager in a veterinary practice for 12 years and owned the Madison House Inn Bed and Breakfast for 5 years. Enjoy the daily interaction with incredible clients at the clinic. Have one beautiful daughter and three awesome grandchildren. Enjoys traveling/RVing with my husband and best friend of 42 years and helping lead our church small group in our home.
Chanel grew up in Tulsa, Ok and went to Jenks High School. She is currently a student at the University of Oklahoma seeking a degree in Animal Science. After graduation she plans to attend vet school and wants to work on dogs, cats, and exotics in the future. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her boyfriend, hanging out with friends, and playing with her dogs, Bella & Thor!
Deanna has been a Registered Veterinary Technician in Oklahoma since 2003. She has worked in general veterinary practices, emergency and critical care and even horse reproduction clinics. In addition to ophthalmology, Deanna is interested in animal nutrition and aging and hospice pet care. At home, Deanna enjoys horseback riding with daughter Natalie, and welcomed baby boy Jude in 2016.
Although she has previously lived in Arizona and California, Donna is originally from Massachusetts. She has made Oklahoma her home for the last 21 years and been working with Dr. Gwin for 20 of those 21 years! In her spare time, Donna likes long walks down by the river, loving on her two black labs – Meg and Andi, and supporting local spay and neuter organizations.
Ginger currently lives in Midwest City. She attended Oklahoma State University and has worked as Dr. Gwin’s transcriptionist since 2003. She loves to travel, but most of all enjoys spending time with family and friends.
After Jaclyn graduated from the University of Colorado, she went to veterinary technician school in San Diego, CA. She moved to Oklahoma four years ago, and has been working with Dr. Gwin ever since! When she isn’t at work, she is either travelling or taking care of her four sweet dogs. Breck (pictured here) has not stopped smiling since Jaclyn rescued her 7 years ago from the Humane Society in Boulder, CO!
I recieved my Rvt certification in 2007 but have worked in the veterinary field for close to 30 years. Retired from the Air Force as a SMSgt after 23 1/2 yrs of service in various career fields. Founder of local animal rescue, Misfits, Mutts and Meows. Started in 2010.
Katie is from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and has been a technician for just over 3 years. Starting out in a small animal hospital, Katie was eager to dive into specialized veterinary medicine. She is mom to her 5 year old son, along with Dorothy the Anatolian Shepherd, Maggie and Dee the Great Pyrenees, 2 donkeys and a horse! In her free time, she keeps busy by working on a cattle ranch. Katie is currently enrolled in classes and is working towards an Animal Science degree from Oklahoma State University. She hopes to one day be a veterinarian!
Nancy is from Oklahoma City, OK and has been practice manager for Animal Eye Clinic for a year and a half. In addition to her responsibilities at the clinic Nancy also has a busy home life and is mother to 3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 tortoises. When she is not working Nancy enjoys gardening, cooking, golfing, and spending time with her family at the lake.
